Roller Coaster Rides of Life, September 2009

Roller Coaster Rides of Life.Currently the fastest roller coaster takes you from 0 mph to 134 mph in 2.5 seconds, scheduled
to open in Germany this past summer. Closer to home ( New Jersey) you can ride a slower one,
it goes to 128 mph in 3.5 seconds with a sudden 90 degree drop. Each exhilarating ride is less
than a minute long (it might be a long minute of praying for the end of the ride.) Wow!
for the month,
What do you lose when you ride this roller coaster? ( or just think about riding it).
Does the word “choice” come to mind?
When you are on this ride someone else has decided how fast you go, how high you go, how far
you fall, and which direction to turn. You have no choice but to stay on the ride until it ends,
there is no getting off in the middle of the ride.
Second question, on the “roller coaster ride” we call life, what do you have that you give away
on the actual roller coaster going over 100 mph?
Does the word “choice” come to mind?
On the roller coaster of life, you have the choice to speed up, slow down, go high or low, and
choose which direction to turn if you don’t like the view ahead. You can also change your mind
and get off in the middle of the ride.
Some of you are thinking “wow, never thought about it like that”. September, the start of
school, the start of other obligations and projects after summer is over, in other words the
start of a roller coaster ride. Remember you have the choice, the power is yours to speed up,
slow down or change direction.
Changing direction, slowing down or speeding up happens much faster with help. My coaching
is done over the phone and you will be amazed by the results.Copyright 2009, Confident Directions, LLC,
