Camera Angles

How was your Christmas?
Camera ready and taking lots of pictures? Pictures of trees, snow, people and things?
The perfect shot, perfect smile, perfect pose, the perfect lighting and background. Did
you change the position to create a great picture or change where you were standing?
You may have zoomed in for a closer shot or zoomed out for wider view. How many
times did you press click for the same pose? Most photographers take multiple pictures
of the same people and things. The result of all of your work?
A priceless photograph and a lasting memory.
Creating your Christmas pictures just like creating life takes work. It starts with a plan,
an idea of what the picture will be and how to make sure it is right. You add small things
or make major additions, take things away and move them around, repositioning them
many times. After all, if this is a picture of your life, it has to be right, to look and feel
good. You zoom in on a certain project or time in life such as becoming parents or
starting a career and zoom out when the focus doesn’t have to be so strong. Don’t forget
the lighting and the background. The lighting is the rest, sleep and food needed to stay
healthy. Background consists of the support system of people, time and resources;
sometimes the background is too busy.
It is the beginning of the New Year. Happy 2009!
I wish you great success creating the picture of your life for 2009. You have what it takes
to make it a priceless photograph and a lasting memory.
